Black Caps batsman Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the remaining two one-day internationals against South Africa.
Williamson has been battling a wrist injury in the lead-up to the series, which saw him miss yesterday's opening loss in Mount Maunganui.
However, seamer Tim Southee will be available for the second match on Friday, having recovered from a shoulder problem that also ruled him out of the first match.
