Daniel Vettori will return to captain the Black Caps in the second ODI against India in Jaipur tonight.

Vettori and Brendon McCullum missed the opening loss of the series with back injuries.

The allrounder says he's ready to go but he's not sure about McCullum.

Vettori says he's just waiting for final confirmation on the explosive opener.

Daryl Tuffey has been ruled out of the tour and will return home for further assessment on a bicep strain.
