Daniel Vettori has declared himself available for New Zealand's ICC World Twenty20 campaign in Sri Lanka.
A year ago Vettori announced he was taking a break from short-form cricket after representing the Black Caps in all formats since 1997.
New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White said he was delighted Vettori will be available for the tournament which starts in August, saying he will provide valuable experience to the side.
"Dan was the No1 ranked Twenty20 bowler in 2009 and is widely regarded as one of the best Twenty20 exponents in world cricket," said White.
"His availability is a real boost for the Black Caps with his style of bowling well suited to conditions in Sri Lanka."
