Scott Styris has been recalled from his county cricket contract with Durham a week early due to concerns about his fitness. Black Caps general manager Lindsay Crocker said Styris had been hampered by injuries during his time at Durham.
"We have decided he needs to return to New Zealand so we can begin working on his fitness and rehabilitation." The Black Caps leave for the ICC world Twenty20 in the first week of September. Styris plays his last game for Durham this weekend.
