New Zealand Cricket is set to play hard ball with any of its players considering signing on for the new Indian Cricket League.
It is understood CEO Justin Vaughan is set to outline the organisation's stance on the new league at a media conference today and it is expected to involve suing players for breach of contract.
Stephen Fleming and Shane Bond have been strongly linked with the new league.
Former Black Cap John Wright, who is now involved with New Zealand Cricket, said all will be revealed later today.
However, he did say it is in New Zealand Cricket's interests to protect their players and that is what they will be doing.
