Kyle Mills has declared himself fit and ready to return to cricket.
The veteran Black Caps seam bowler will turn out for the Auckland Aces in their domestic one-day match against the Northern Knights today after being sidelined for a month with a groin strain.
Mills said now a good time to return.
"It's been a really good week for me personally. I've got a lot of overs under my belt and I'm ready to take the next step of playing the game of cricket."
Mills said he expects to be available for the Black Caps' fifth ODI against Sri Lanka in Dunedin on Friday.
