New Zealand batsman Craig McMillan has signed with English county Hampshire as a two-month replacement for Simon Katich while the Australian is on international duty.
McMillan, 28, will make his Hampshire debut on May 30 and return in time for New Zealand's scheduled tour of Zimbabwe. He says he is looking forward to playing alongside Hampshire captain Shane Warne before the leg-spinner is required for test duty.
He joins in-form fellow Black Caps Stephen Fleming (Nottinghamshire), Scott Styris (Middlesex) and Andre Adams (Essex) on the county scene.
