New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor admits a report on security for the Indian Premier League is not favourable.
The New Zealand Players' Association and its counterparts in Australia and England have received a report from security consultant Reg Dickason which states a terrorism threat against the IPL is real and credible.
Taylor says Players' boss Heath Mills is not convinced over some security arrangements. He says Mills has come back with a few concerns and it is up to the tournament organisers to try and fix them.
Taylor says he will leave his decision as late as possible before deciding whether to travel to India after the home series against Australia.
Meanwhile, security warnings in India are set to be ignored by Australia's leading cricketers.
Former New South Wales and Black Caps coach Steve Rixon says he has spoken to a number of Australian players who are likely to ignore Dickason's unfavourable report on the IPL.
Rixon says that is sure to influence the six New Zealand players involved. He says most, if not all the players signed are likely to compete as the tournament is very lucrative and life changing to some players.
The Black Caps involved in the IPL are Daniel Vettori, Shane Bond, Brendon McCullum, Taylor and Jacob Oram. Recalled batsman Scott Styris is contracted by Deccan Chargers but did not make their 23-man squad this year while Jesse Ryder and Kyle Mills have been invalided out of the tournament.
