Martin Guptill will head to the Indian Premier League after all.
The Black Caps opener went unsold in February's player auction, despite being listed as one of several marquee players.
However, Guptill has been called into the Mumbai Indian squad as cover for West Indian opener Lendl Simmons who's been ruled out of the whole tournament due to a back injury.
