A slightly different look to the McLean Park pitch to be used in the one-off cricket Test between the Black Caps and Zimbabwe.
Commentator Bryan Waddle says curator Phil Stoyanoff is a former pace bowler and is predisposed to offering the fast bowlers some encouragement.
As a result there's extensive grass covering on the pitch but Waddle believes it will still be favourable for batting.
The Black Caps are likely to take a four-pronged pace attack into the match with Tim Southee, Chris Martin, Trent Boult and Doug Bracewell all tipped to play.
Daniel Vettori is likely to bat at number six with BJ Watling to keep wicket.
