KEY POINTS:
Former Black Caps skipper Stephen Fleming is concerned he will be seriously underdone heading into next month's two test series against Bangladesh.
The veteran left hander dislocated a thumb on the tour of South Africa and has not played since.
He said it is worrying how little cricket he would have played.
Fleming said now the team is actually playing test matches, it is frustrating to be battling injury.
Fleming will captain a New Zealand 11 in Twenty20 match against Bangladesh in Hamilton on Sunday.
The match is part of efforts to fund raise for World Vision's Cyclone Sidr relief efforts.
Fleming also hopes to play a domestic one dayer for Wellington at the end of the month, but says that is hardly ideal preparation for test cricket.
