LEEDS - England captain Michael Vaughan won the toss and chose to bowl first in the rain-delayed second cricket test against New Zealand at Headingley here today.
New Zealand made one change from their seven-wicket loss in the first test, with batsman Craig McMillan forced out with a broken little finger and replaced by opener Michael Papps.
England were hit by the late withdrawal of fast bowler Simon Jones, who will miss the rest of the series with a foot injury and was replaced by Kent paceman Martin Saggers for his second test.
In England's other change from the first test, Vaughan returned from a knee injury for the retired Nasser Hussain.
The entire morning session was washed out due to rain, with play set to start under heavy cloud at 12.10am (NZT).
