Steady rain makes a start on time in the opening ODI between New Zealand and South Africa at Hamilton's Seddon Park remote.
The match is due to begin at 2pm, but with a forecast suggesting poor weather clearing about mid-afternoon the wise money would be on a reduced-overs contest.
The pitch block is under covers and two super soppers are rolling around the outfield.
South Africa took first honours for the tour with their convincing 78-run win in the only T20 match of the tour at Eden Park on Friday night.
This will be the 25th ODI at Seddon Park, and South Africa's second visit for a match against New Zealand. The first was washed out in 2014 midway through the first innings.
