Black Caps coach John Bracewell has included allrounders Jacob Oram and Scott Styris for the second one-day cricket international against South Africa in Cape Town today (tomorrow NZ time).
Oram played in the five-match series opener last Sunday, which South Africa won by two wickets, but has picked up a groin injury and will play as a batsman only.
Styris has been battling a hamstring injury and will play his first match of the tour.
Radio New Zealand reported that from the first match Hamish Marshall and spin bowler Jeetan Patel have been omitted, meaning James Franklin comes into the 12. The super-sub has yet to be named.
New Zealand
Stephen Fleming (captain), Nathan Astle, Lou Vincent, Craig McMillan, Scott Styris, Jacob Oram, Brendon McCullum, Daniel Vettori, Andre Adams, Kyle Mills, Shane Bond, James Franklin.
