The New Zealand cricketers will swap the whites for the coloured outfits when they line up in Sunday's opening round of the HRV Cup Twenty20 competition.
With the exception on Daniel Vettori, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, all of New Zealand squad who toured Australia recently will be available for their domestic sides.
A handful of imports will also be on show, including Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan who is playing for Wellington.
International cricket's most prolific wicket taker flies into Auckland on Saturday night in time to play Auckland at Colin Maiden Park on Sunday afternoon.
"We can't wait to get into it," New Zealand opener Martin Guptill said. "Everyone over here has been talking about the HRV Cup for the last couple of days.
"Everyone loves to watch it, everyone loves to play in it and it's just fun to be a part of. You get the chance to play in front of New Zealand and that's always really exciting."
There is one round of HRV Cup action before Christmas, followed by 27 more matches before the final on January 22.
