Sri Lanka has eased to a three wicket win over the Black Caps in their one-day international match in Dambulla.
Batting first, the Black Caps could only manage 192 all out in the 49th over, with debutant opener BJ Watling top-scoring on 55.
Sri Lanka appeared to be coasting to victory on the back of 70 to opener Upul Tharanga before a string of late wickets saw them stumble to their target with 9.5 overs to spare.
BJ Watling says they didn't give the bowlers enough runs to play with. He says they fell short of putting a good total on the board.
Kyle Mills was the pick of the Black Cap bowlers, taking four for 41.
