New Zealand's cricketers will undertake a split tour of South Africa this season, with one-day internationals in October and tests in April.
Cricket South Africa confirmed it and New Zealand Cricket had agreed to the itinerary after difficulties fitting the full tour into a packed international schedule.
New Zealand will play five one-dayers and a Twenty20 match between October 14 and November 6, before returning home for the Chappell Hadlee Trophy one-dayers against Australia in early December.
They will return to South Africa for three tests in Centurion near Pretoria, Cape Town and Johannesburg in April and early May.
The schedules were complicated by the Super Series matches between Australia and the World 11 in October, and South Africa's requirement to play five one-day internationals in India in November.
