The Black Caps have finished their tour of Britain on a high after thrashing Scotland by eight wickets in the one-day international in Aberdeen today.
New Zealand dismissed Scotland for a paltry 101 in 33.2 overs before reaching the target with 212 balls to spare.
Ross Taylor belted 61 not out off 41 balls and Brendon McCullum hit 22.
Grant Elliott and Jacob Oram picked up three wickets each, while Mark Gillespie and Daniel Vettori each grabbed two.
Captain Daniel Vettori insisted the match, and the 290 run win against Ireland, was not a waste of time.
Vettori says it is important for Scotland and Ireland to play against one of the best one-day teams in the world.
