KEY POINTS:
Paceman Kyle Mills has rocketed up the latest world one-day international cricket rankings but there are still no New Zealand batsmen in the top-20.
Mills took nine wickets at 11.33 in New Zealand's just-completed 1-2 ODI series loss to South Africa, jumping 12 spots to 11th on the world bowling rankings released today.
He joins currently injured paceman Shane Bond (unchanged at No 2) and his captain Daniel Vettori (up one spot to No 5) in the top-15.
South Africa's Shaun Pollock remains the top-rated ODI bowler, ahead of Bond and Australia's Nathan Bracken.
In the batting rankings, Scott Styris is the highest-placed New Zealander at 23rd.
Australians Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds and Matthew Hayden head the batting list.
New Zealand were scheduled to arrive in Perth today for a Twenty20 international next Tuesday, and the three-match Chappell-Hadlee series, with a world ODI ranking of three.
Australia remain the top-ranked side on 128 points, with South Africa on 124 and New Zealand on 113, three points clear of fourth-ranked India.
