A passenger on an Emirates flight has told Newstalk ZB a Black Caps player was involved in an incident on a flight between Sydney and Dubai.
The Black Caps team management is investigating.
nzherald.co.nz understands the player is fast bowler Tim Southee.
A passenger on the Emirates flight described the incident to Newstalk ZB as the worst possible sort of lewd behaviour and said it involved one of the players and a woman.
NZ Cricket CEO Justin Vaughan was investigating and told Newstalk ZB some of the claims going around were exaggerated.
The team is heading to India for the Cricket World Cup.
The team has now left the plane at Dubai Airport.
Team Manager Dave Currie confirmed he was aware of an incident and was also investigating to determine exactly what had happened.
