A women's cricket team in Adelaide has smashed what is thought to be a world record total after reaching a staggering 596 for three from 50 overs.
The Northern Districts team fell just short of the unthinkable 600-mark thanks to four players reaching centuries, Adelaide Now reports.
Even more amazingly, the team managed just three sixes in the innings with 256 runs coming from fours.
The opposition Port Adelaide seemed to help the cause with a reported 88 extras including 75 wides.
According to Adelaide Now, Northern Districts captain Tegan McPharlin topscored with 136 off 80 balls, while 15-year-old Darcie Brown scored 117 from 84 balls. Sam Betts (124 off 71) and Tabitha Saville (120 off 56) also made tons.
