Black Caps bowler Daniel Vettori is the subject of interest in Australia after reports surfaced he is in the running to take over as Brisbane Heat coach.
Vettori, who is currently preparing for the Cricket World Cup, played for the Heat in the Australian Big Bash T20 League and The Courier-Mail reported he's the favourite to take over as head coach.
The Heat have been looking for a coach since they sacked Stuart Law after finishing last in this season's Big Bash.
The 34-year-old is currently the coach of Indian Premier League side Royal Challengers Bangalore, and would need permission from them to take over in Brisbane.
