Sri Lanka A's batsmen dominated the opening day of their second four-day clash with New Zealand A at Dambulla.
Having won the toss, the batsmen cashed in to reach 360 for three.
In-form Kaushal Silva followed his century in the previous game with 150 not out, his 26th first-class hundred, to anchor the innings. He took part in stands of 152 and 146 for the second and third wickets to shut the door on New Zealand's bowling ambitions.
The day began promisingly for NZ A when seamer Doug Bracewell got a wicket in the opening over. But it was a tough slog from then on.
Seamer Matt Henry and spinner Anton Devcich picked up a wicket apiece but spinners Ish Sodhi and Todd Astle conceded 153 off 33 wicketless overs between them.
Dimuth Karunaratne and Dinesh Chandimal made 80s, before both being dismissed caught and bowled.
