Tim Southee has gained one over Black Caps teammate Trent Boult after facing off in the Indian Premier League overnight.
Southee's Rajasthan Royals won a last ball thriller when Australian James Faulkner hit the final ball for four to secure a six wicket win.
It was the side's fourth straight win in the competition.
Batting first Boult's Sunrisers made 127 for five with England's Eion Morgan topscoring with 27 from 30 balls.
Southee failed to take a wicket, finishing with 0-30 from four overs. In the chase, Rajasthan opener Ajinkya Rahane made 62 before he was bowled by Boult who finished with 1-31 from four overs.
