Cricket: Singh in double hat-trick

NZ Emerging player Maneka Singh claimed a double hat-trick in a Napier/Hastings women's representative match on Saturday.

The 15-year-old Cornwall Club cricketer claimed four wickets in a row to finish with a five-wicket haul as Hastings thumped their opposition in the intercity match at Nelson Park, Napier, by eight wickets.

Singh bowled six overs for two maidens and seven runs.
