New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum finds himself in the box seat thanks to remarkable innings from Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson in Perth.
The Kiwis have gone from being in survival mode to a position where they can contemplate different tactics which might bring them victory over Australia.
So what should McCullum do when the test resumes on day four?
1) Declare overnight and let his fresh bowlers rip into the Aussies.
2) If his batsmen keep going, declare a little later in the piece with a small lead which will hopefully allow Ross Taylor to reach 300.
3) Let his batsmen go on and on and on to build as big a lead as possible.
