Pakistan were 14 for one in reply to a New Zealand Invitation 11's first innings of 234 at stumps on the opening day of their three day tour cricket match in Queenstown today.
Imran Farhat was not out 10 and Fawad Alam was yet to score after pace bowler Tim Southee took the wicket to fall when Khurram Manzoor was leg before wicket for one.
Earlier, wicketkeeper Reece Young topscored for the Invitation 11 at Queenstown Events Centre with 75 while Daniel Flynn, with 49, and James Franklin, 43, were the other main contributors.
Right-arm fast bowler Abdur Rauf spearheaded the tourists with figures of four for 43 from 14.1 overs.
