The Pakistan cricket team has been reprimanded for a slow over-rate in the first test loss to the Black Caps.
Captain Misbah-ul-Haq has been suspended for one test and fined 40 per cent of his match fee, while his players have been fined 20 per cent of their match fees.
Match referee Richie Richardson has imposed the penalties after Pakistan was ruled to be two overs short of its target of 103 overs after time allowances were taken into consideration.
It's Misbah-ul-Haq's second minor offence within a 12-month period.
He's missing this week's second test in Hamilton anyway after returning home following the death of his father-in-law.
