Otago's opening game in the Champions League Twenty20 tournament has been abandoned without a ball bowled due to heavy rain.
Otago were set to play the Mumbai Indians in Ahmedabad in their group A opener. The earlier match at the same ground between the Perth Scorchers and Lions was also rained off.
The Volts play Perth in their second game on Wednesday night (NZT).
