New Zealand were 146 for five in their second innings at lunch on day four of the first cricket test against India at Seddon Park today, still 95 runs short of making the tourists bat again.
Resuming on 75 for three, New Zealand lost the wickets of Ross Taylor (4) and Jesse Ryder (21) during the opening session.
Daniel Flynn, 24 not out overnight, was unbea ten on 62 - his third test half century. James Franklin was not out seven.
Harbhajan Singh was the leading bowler with two for 19 from 10 overs while seamer Munaf Patel had two for 31, also from 10.
