New Zealand A's second tour match is heading for a draw after a day dominated by India A's batsmen in Vizakhapatnam yesterday.
Resuming at 94 for two in reply to NZ A's 437, India finished the day at 408 for seven. One day remains in the match.
Manprit Juneja batted through the day for his fifth first-class century, ending on 178 not out.
Vasudevan Jagadeesh reached 91, the pair sharing a 197-run stand for the third wicket.
Captain Abhishek Nayar added 57 as India A ground their way through a hot day.
Doug Bracewell was the most successful NZ A bowler, finishing with three for 75. There were two wickets for legspinner Todd Astle and one apiece for Corey Anderson and Mark Gillespie.
