Australian players Ben Laughlin and Daniel Harris have been signed by Northern Districts for this season's HRV Cup.
Fast-medium Laughlin, who plays for Tasmania and the Hobart Hurricanes in Australia's Big Bash, has played eight matches for Australia and in 33 T20 games has taken 37 wickets at 26, conceding 7.93 runs per over.
Top order batsman Harris, with the Melbourne Renegades, has a strike rate of 126 from 65 T20 games.
The pair will be available for ND's first four games in the cup, starting with defending champions Otago in Dunedin this Saturday.
"Both Ben and Daniel have played a large number of highly competitive T20 fixtures. Their match-winning ability, their knowledge and their undoubted passion for the game, will be a huge boost to our squad," ND coach James Pamment said.
