A pink ball will be used in New Zealand A's second tour match in India although it will remain a daytime fixture.
Indian officials will continue its domestic pink ball trial by employing it in the four-day match involving India A at Vijayawada starting on Saturday.
It is the second of two matches, with the tourists having crashed to an innings and 31-run loss in the first, which employed the traditional red ball.
A lack of floodlights at the Dr. Gokaraju Liala Gangaaraju ACA Cricket Ground means the match will have the same orthodox hours.
New Zealand Cricket gave its approval to use the pink ball, which is gaining traction in the international game.
