Black Caps fast bowler Adam Milne has joined an elite club of fast bowlers.
Milne has bowled at speeds in excess of 150 kilometres an hour during New Zealand's 81-run win over the West Indies in the first Twenty20 international at Eden Park.
Black Caps wicketkeeper Luke Ronchi says Milne was hitting his gloves hard on what was a slow pitch.
"He's got a good future for New Zealand cricket. If he keeps going at that sort of pace at 21, it's going to be really good for us.''
The second and final Twenty20 international against the West Indies is in Wellington on Wednesday.
