Former international batsman Craig McMillan's term with the New Zealand team as batting coach has been extended by two years.
McMillan, just back from the New Zealand A tour to England, has had the role on an interim basis but follows head coach Mike Hesson, who yesterday had an extra two years added to his contract.
"We're very happy with his development," New Zealand Cricket head of cricket Lindsay Crocker said.
"I'm confident he'll continue to form an excellent coaching trio with Mike and (head bowling coach) Shane Bond."
McMillan, 37, has given up his media roles including television commentary work.
