Australian leg spinner Shane Warne predicts the MCG pitch will favour the fast bowlers early in the Boxing Day Test.
Cloudy conditions are forecast on day one which will also assist the pacemen.
Warne says the Australian pace attack is looking forward to bowling on the seamer-friendly pitch.
"Looking at that one it's got a lot more grass on it so I think the seamers are jumping around, they're all bowling in the nets running flat out for the first time this summer so I think they're looking forward to it."
