Australian batting coach Justin Langer says he's flattered by a report that he is being considered for the Indian coaching job.
Langer has told the Mumbai Mid Day he would be honoured to take on the role if offered it after Gary Kersten steps down following the World Cup which finishes on April 2.
"Coaching the most popular cricket team in the world would be great," Langer told the newspaper.
Langer said his role as batting consultant with Cricket Australia ends after the World Cup.
Australia play India in a quarter-final match on Thursday in Ahmedabad.
