Wayne Knights will umpire in two rounds of South Africa's first-class cricket competition next month as part of the annual umpire exchange programme.
The 41-year-old will stand in the four-day games in Cape Town and Centurion and, in exchange, an umpire from South Africa will officiate in two Plunket Shield matches held in Rangiora and Napier in late February and early March.
The exchange of umpires between the two countries has been ongoing since 1998.
