South African cricket star Herschelle Gibbs has arrived in New Zealand and is expected to make his HRV Cup debut for the Northern Knights tomorrow night.
The South African opener will play three games for the Knights, starting tomorrow against Canterbury in Hamilton.
Gibbs says he's been watching their early season progress keenly.
He says it's nice to join Northern at this stage of the season as they've already got some momentum.
Gibbs says he's comfortable wearing pink, though he prefers to call it "executive salmon".
Black Caps Scott Styris and Tim Southee will also bolster the Northern squad for tomorrow night's match.
