Cricket commentator Mark Nicholas is in an improved condition after being rushed to hospital with severe abdominal pain during the test between Australia and Pakistan in Melbourne.
Channel Nine reported Nicholas' condition had improved and that he was in good spirits, despite earlier suffering from severe abdominal pain. His Nine colleagues said he wished to thank MCG stadium staff for their help and the cricket community in general for their good wishes.
The Nine commentator was rushed to hospital from the MCG for medical treatment by paramedics.
A stretcher came into the back of the broadcast facility to assist Nicholas who was visibly struggling and sweating profusely.
