Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers each struck 102 to pilot South Africa to 280-7 off 48 overs and set up a 66-run win against West Indies in the opening one-day international at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium yesterday.
Opener Amla anchored the innings with his second one-day ton, lashing eight fours off 109 deliveries.
Allrounder Dwayne Bravo was the best of the home bowlers, grabbing 3-40 off 10 overs. But the West Indies' batsmen wilted to 215 all out from 44.1 overs.
