Central Districts have won the Ford Trophy one day domestic cricket competition, claiming a dramatic two wicket victory over Auckland in the final.
Set 283 to win, the Stags appeared out of the match when they lost their eighth wicket with the score at 225 and 4.4 overs to spare, before Michael Mason and Bevan Small combined to score 60 runs from 27 balls to secure the title.
Mason finished unbeaten with 41 from 19 balls.
