Allrounder Dwayne Bravo could bring his nine-month international cricket exile to an end next month against Australia after being selected for a West Indies training camp.
But explosive opener Chris Gayle has again been overlooked as his dispute with the West Indies Cricket Board continues.
Bravo's last game for the West Indies was a one-day international against India last June, but he was overlooked by selectors for the tour of Bangladesh in October and then injured an ankle.
But the 28-year-old has proven his fitness in recent months playing Twenty20 for the Sydney Sixers, with Trinidad and Tobago and most recently for the Chittagong Kings in the Bangladesh Premier League.
He has been chosen as one of 13 non-contracted players to join 17 contracted ones for a two-week camp in Barbados ending on March 12.
