Key West Indies batsman Darren Bravo has returned home from the New Zealand tour.
Lefthander Bravo, who hit a fine double century to help save the first test in Dunedin this month, flew home to Trinidad from Auckland after the opening ODI at Eden Park on Thursday.
Team management said he has left the tour for personal reasons and won't be replaced.
That leaves the tourists with 14 players for the remaining four ODIs and two T20s. They take a 1-0 lead into the second ODI, at Napier's McLean Park on Sunday.
