Trent Boult has had a strong outing in the Sunrisers Hyderabad Indian Premier League victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore last night.
The Black Caps paceman took 3-36 from his four overs including the key dismissal of South African skipper Ab de Villiers for 46. Boult also took the wickets of Australian Sean Abbott and Bangalore opening bowler Harshal Patel, caught by New Zealand teammate Kane Williamson.
Bangalore were bowled for 166 in the final over which the Sunrisers chased down with the loss of just two wickets for their first win of the tournament.
One of those to fall was Williamson however who made just five from nine deliveries before being stumped off the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal.
David Warner was named man of the match after scoring 57 from 27 balls at the top of the order for Hyderabad while fellow opener Shikhar Dhawan reached 50 not out.
