Australian captain Michael Clarke has named an unchanged XI for the second Test against India at the SCG starting on Tuesday.
Clarke indicated earlier in the build-up to the historic 100th Test at the venue, that he might break with tradition at the ground and select an all-out pace attack.
However, the skipper decided to leave Queensland quick Ryan Harris out of the team and stick with spinner Nathan Lyon who has been a success for Australia since making his debut in the Sri Lanka series in August.
Clarke believes his in-form fast bowlers led by James Pattinson and Peter Siddle have had enough rest since the furst Test at the MCG finished a day early courtesy of Australia's crushing win.
Ben Hilfenhaus was retained ahead of Harris after taking seven wickets in his return to Test cricket in Melbourne.
Clarke said in the end it would have been foolish to change a winning team.
"Same team as Melbourne, so tough call on Rhino (Harris)," said Clarke at his pre-match press conference at the SCG on Monday.
"He's been a wonderful bowler for us and I love having him in and around the group and it was tough to leave him out but we've stuck with the winning team in Melbourne.
"I think the way we performed in Melbourne, it's tough to change that team.
"We've had a long enough break as well and that was probably the other consideration.
"Finishing the game a day early and the bowlers not bowling too many overs in the second innings has certainly helped them."
Australia: Michael Clarke (capt), Brad Haddin (vice capt), David Warner, Ed Cowan, Shaun Marsh, Ricky Ponting, Michael Hussey, Peter Siddle, James Pattinson, Nathan Lyon, Ben Hilfenhaus, Ryan Harris (12th man).
