Brent Arnel snared career-best figures of eight for 81 as New Zealand A completed an easy win over Zimbabwe A in the second game of their three-match cricket series at Harare yesterday.
The tourists won the match by 10 wickets after the Northern Districts medium-fast bowler ran through the home side on the fourth and last day.
He already had three wickets to his name when Zimbabwe A resumed on 164 for four in the second innings and proceeded to enjoy himself as he tore through the middle and lower order.
After the first match of the series was drawn, New Zealand A set themselves up for a comfortable victory by posting 526 for eight declared in their first innings after opener Jamie How scored 115 and wicketkeeper Gareth Hopkins made an unbeaten 100.
Captain James Franklin then took five for 22 and Chris Martin four for 46 when Zimbabwe A were dismissed for 256 in their first innings.
The third and final match of the series starts on Thursday.
