Fittingly the SCG's 100th Test has been all about three figures.
Australian captain Michael Clarke ensured the landmark match at the iconic Sydney venue will be widely remembered in the years to come with the first Test triple hundred at the ground.
Clarke's mammoth innings broke one of the longest standing records at the ground, the 287 made by Reg ``Tip'' Foster for England in the 1903-04 Ashes series.
But the 30-year-old wasn't alone in making his mark in the SCG's milestone match.
Ricky Ponting had already broken a two-year wait for a Test century in the second day's play and Michael Hussey made it three from three for Australia's middle order when he brought up his own hundred before lunch on day three.
There was plenty of three figure moments for the Indian bowlers too, but they probably won't want to recall them.
Tall fast bowler Ishant Sharma at least had a moment of fun when his runs conceded column passed 100 on Wednesday, raising his hat in acknowledgment to the cheeky cheers of the crowd.
But the joke clearly wasn't funny by the time Zaheer Khan, Umesh Yadav and off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin joined Sharma in the 100-run club.
Clarke's heroics may well make it a footnote now, but all that remains now for the SCG's 100th to be a perfect celebration will be if Indian great Sachin Tendulkar can get to three figures himself for his landmark 100th international hundred.
