Parents of a Wellington school have complained after Losi Filipo was invited to a school sports day last week.
The former teenage rugby player - convicted of assault this year - didn't end up attending the event run by Wilford School in Petone last Friday, reportedly because he had other work commitments.
But it is understood parents complained anyway about his attendance.
They were invited by chairman Ced Simpson to a meeting on Monday at the school library to "share their opinions with the board".
But the school have today refused to comment about the outcome of the meeting.
