Zambia's runaway win

Zambia won its first gold medal, even if it won't count towards the official tally. Zambia's mascot - a golden eagle - was a runaway winner in the inaugural mascot race held at the athletes' village yesterday. St Lucia's Derek the Dinosaur was second and Scotland's Doug the Scotch Doggie survived a protest by England's Dashing Dottie for third.
